Whole books have been written about moldavite, a rare green tektite. We will try to give some of the highlights here.  Moldavite was formed as the result of a single meteor strike in the Czech Republic 15 million years ago. It is said that this is the stone that was used in the holy grail as well as the emerald tablets.  Also, it is the oldest representation of divinity found to date at 25,000 years old; The Venus of Willendorf, was found with moldavite amulets.
