Symbols, Signs & Your Destiny

The deck of cards isn’t only for fun and games. You may be surprised to discover that the small pack is believed by many mystics to be our first calendar. A closer look at the symbols, spots, suits and faces that make up the 52 cards reveal an interesting connection with life on earth.

The four suits (hearts, clubs, diamonds, spades) symbolize the four seasons of the year and periods of life (from youth to old age). There are 52 cards and 52 weeks in a year (5+2= 7 days a week). The 13 cards in each suit (Ace-King) represent the number of new moons a year. There are also 13 weeks in a quarter. 

When you add up the ‘spots’ on all the cards, with the face cards given values as follows: J=11, Q=12, K=13; it adds up to 364. The Joker, with a value of 1.25 brings the total value of a deck of cards to 365¼ , the number of days in a year.  

Your personal birth card is based on the day and month you were born, and can offer amazingly accurate insights into your personality, talents and relationship style.
